50 Reasons For Students To Choose Online Classes

 

Together caregivers and their students will make decisions about online learning. Students will take responsibility for their learning. 

 

1. Your student can start and stop at different times

2. Your student can focus on a single course.

3. Your student can condense  learning into manageable increments.

4. Your student can take breaks, go for walks, exercise, and change learning locations.

5. Your student, with a caregiver’s guidance, can learn other subjects.

6. Your student does not need to take standardized tests. 

7. Your student is not exposed to negative influences.

8. Your student is not exposed to questionable curriculum.

9. Your student is not exposed to  questionable teaching.

10. Your student is safe from school bullies.

11. Your student is safe from school violence.

12. Your student knows that family is central.

13. Your student does not do after school homework because the online courses are their homework.

14. Your student is not exposed to assembly line learning.

15. Your student  can embrace their individuality.

16. Your student can learn at their own pace.

17. Your student can use a safe and private bathroom anytime.

18. Your student can eat whenever they want and take their time.

19. Your student does not experience a mad morning rush.

20. Your student does not experience an after-school frenzy.

21. Your student won’t be guilted into signing up for after-school enrichment programs.

22. Your student will not have to help with fundraisers.

23. Your student and you, the caregiver, will not have to purchase school pictures.

24. Your student and you, the caregiver, will not have to sign official school papers. 

25. Your student will not have any unexcused absences.

26. Your student will not have any absences at all.

27. Your student will not be exposed to rules based on political correctness.

28. Your student will not be categorized.

29. Your student, with the caregiver’s permission,  is free to choose other resources.

30. Your student can sleep late.

31. Your student has the freedom to stay up late.

32. Your student does not walk to school. 

33. Your student does not have to ask permission to go on vacation.

34. Your student does not have to adapt to different authority figures.

35. Your student may start a school year whenever you, the caregiver, and your student decide. 

36. Your student may end the school year when you, the caregiver, and your student decide. 

37. Your student may use parks, trails, playgrounds and museums during school days.

38. Your student and you, the caregiver, avoid school traffic.

39. Your student will benefit from one-on-one learning.

40. Your student will get a superior education.

41. Your student will not experience interruptions by school bells.

42. Your student will have less exposure to diseases including COVID-19 and to drugs.

43. Your student will not experience classroom disruptions.

44. Your student can use any resources you, the caregiver, and your student choose.

45. Your student will have more exposure to the real adult world.

46. Your student will have more opportunities for life learning.

47. Your student will have more time for better sibling relationships.

48. Your student won’t encounter after-school zombies.

49. Your student will have more free time.

50. Your student will have more time to learn about themselves.
